POWER Library gives Pennsylvanians access to authoritative, subscription-only information that isn’t available through free search engines or web directories.

The e-resources in POWER Library provide access to thousands of newspapers, magazines, journals, images, video, STEM resources, pre-k activities, and more.

Where I find out more about the POWER Library E-Resources?

Is it just public libraries that can get link to the e-resources? 

  • No!  Most libraries in Pennsylvania are eligible to participate in POWER Library and get access to the e-Resources.  The list of available e-resources, though, do vary by library type.  For more information, be sure to check out the Application for POWER Library Services

Where can I find my library’s custom links for the POWER e-Resources?

  • For all your library’s custom links, just visit the E-Resource Links Generator.  Enter in your library’s name and click Generate Links.

Where I can find the logos/icons for all the E-Resources?

What is the Funding & Support Attribution and where can I find more information about it?

What is Single Sign On and where can I find more information about it?

  • Single Sign On (SSO) is a way for school libraries to make it easier for students to access POWER Library e-resources.  Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication is now available for school districts using ClassLink, Google, or Clever as their SSO platform and eliminates the need for students to enter library card or eCard numbers. For more information about Single Sign On, click here.
